Worcestershire Care Group Protection of clients

Worcestershire Care Group has well established systems in place which safeguard and protect clients from harm or abuse. All new members of staff must have two written references supporting their application.

Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) and Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA) checks are made before any new staff member is allowed to work alone with a client.

The company has a high level of commitment to training; new staff undergo an intensive 2 weeks induction which equips them with skills and knowledge to carry out their work safely and competently. The programme includes abuse awareness and a range of health and safety issues. Staff continue to receive training and updates throughout their employment.

Clients are encouraged to tell us how they feel about the service. Any concerns or complaints are given priority, investigated promptly and every effort made to reach a positive outcome for the client and their family.
